Lovely bowl - made and sold.....

It was a little experiment with a slip casted thin porcelain bowl with iron oxide etching.
Had a short stay in the shop....under a week.
Always a lovely compliment when a new experimental item is sold right away.
And i'm putting it on the blog as a reminder to make some more!

Colored porcelain sample batch - part 2

What a difference.....the left picture is only bisc fired and the right picture is after firing
the samples at 1260 dergrees (orton cone 8). and so much smaller ;)
I'm making color samples for a company and i always love experimenting!
This batch of colors is made this week - already made some new ones based on this batch.



 Here are a few cups in soft pastels from the "Solid color" collection - yummie!!
