Purple Ceramics...

Today unloading a kiln with all kinds of lilac, purple & mauve ceramics.
I'm a green lover but i think purple is a lovely mysterious color between red and blue.
When you search at Pinterest for purple i love the pictures that are shown as this one...

I also was working without really realizing with lotes of shades of purple and lilacs.
From slipcasting, handthrown cups in combination with grey and Marylin Monroe.

In the Spotlight!! - Het Zeeuwse knoopje.

In the Spotlight is an new theme in our webshop www.swartenoot.com

Approx. once a month we make a page al about a theme.
The first was Black & White and now we made one for our most populair earrings.
The famous and traditional Zeeuws Knoopje - from past times.

An other ceramic addiction!!

Okee - i'm going overboard with my plaster molds.....
Making a new collection of flat dishes in my "Solid color" style.
A very simple basic design (many designers use this shape) - it is a sweet one.

Here are some pics of the work in progress in my workspace.
The dishes are greenware freshly scrapped and sponged clean to be bisc fired.

They look really pastel colored and i love this - i will be working on that but these
sweeties will be rather colored after there second high fire....
