Sanding lots of ceramic cups....

Really happy i have got a nice and big order of my "Rock" collection!!
144 for cups in espresso and cafe size....

Only one thing is heavy (not complaining at all) but just wanted to share these cups are sanded twice.
The first time is after the bics fire and the second time after the second fire - for a matt smooth lovely natural stone feeling.

It goes someting like this:

So 144 x 2 = 288 cups sanding away - but i'm still smiling because they look and feel sooooo
nice when they are ready to go to there new home...

Collaborations in ceramics and illustrations.

Yeh a new page is made on our website and it is all about collaborations between the ceramic artist
and various 2D artist as illustrators, poets etc.
A line of ceramic products mostly tableware and jewelry with sepia toner decals fired into them.

Working on..... Big Colored chocolate mugs.

One of my designs is a tableware line "Colored chocolate" this is a mouse brownish stoneware
line of mugs & cups. I did not make them for a while but i had an order and made some more!!
And i'm happy the way they turned out (again)....
This is in one of the working stages....after throwing and trimming i have put on the ears on the mugs.
A big one where most of the females can put four fingers trough and the men probably three.

And here is the result after the second fire.....
in the colors peach, red, dark purple and mint......yum yum colors.

50s jewelry made of high fired porcelain.

Yes some 50s style jewelry.
These are lovely sweet and not to big 50s rose drop earrings - made of high fired porcelain that
is decorated with black, red,orange or cobalt blue underglaze. Finished with a glossy glaze.
In a drop shape. We have just lited them in our online shop. The orange ones will follow soon :)

And they are also available in white with dark cobalt blue!!
